We
had spent the night at the Raging Elk Hostel and met a few interesting
lads. We shared stories over some Nelson
Breweries pints and pizza before crashing.
The morning arrived with a slight hangover and beautiful BC skies. We decided to spend most of the day in Fernie
as it was too nice a spot to simply bypass.
We got to air out our tents, do laundry, get some groceries, and enjoy
ourselves. After leaving Fernie, we
pedaled to Bayne’s Lake camp site just before the national border.
Met six interesting ladies selling homemade lemonade.
View from campsite that evening.
